Mission

Scan the NFC tags with the corporate secrets on the NSFW corporation compound.

Briefing

We managed to gather following intel. The tags are supposed to have following shapes and forms:

1. Credit card, black with logo
2. Coin-shaped, colorful, with logo
3. Coin-shaped, translucent metallic

The tags are supposed to be on freely accessible con grounds. The non-open areas were checked already, they are cleaner than my underwear.

When you find a tag, scan it with NFC. Allow the tag up to three seconds to be scanned, there are complex security protocols used.

All known information can be found in the tags section. That seems to be a very weird breed of people, all communication solely consists of inside jokes and vague hints.

Be careful. You are operating in public and could be uncovered at any moment. Also, you are not alone. The competition never sleeps, so don't give them more hints.

You can register yourself after you found the first tag. Before that, we don't want to hear a word from you.

Where are the tags?

On the con area, where it is freely accessible by any attendee. We don't have any more details.

Where are no tags?

The not freely accessible con area were checked already and are clean.

This includes:

• Hotel rooms
• SIG rooms
• Fursuit lounge
• Swimming and spa areas
• Staff-only rooms
• ...

What are valued / unvalued tags?

Valued tags are on fixed places. If you are smart, you will find them.

Unvalued tags are ... not necessarily stationary. For these, you need smarts as well as a bit of luck.

How do I register?

You can register as soon as you scanned the first tag.

We minimize any contact with you until you delivered your first results.

Why am I not allowed to delete cookies?

We identify you by a cookie, so you can't lose your password. Been there, done that.

If you:

• switch your smartphone
• switch your browser
• delete cookies

then your login gets lost. In this case, see the next paragraph.

I am not logged in anymore

This only applies to the unlikely case that you registered with your pseudonym, but aren't logged in anymore.

For cases like you, we have some undercover contacts on the convention. Minimize your contact with them so they don't get uncovered.

I can't scan a tag

Make sure that:

• NFC is enabled
• Smartphone is unlocked
• Homescreen or browser are opened

Touch the tag with your phone and wait up to 3 seconds for it to be read.

Touch the tag with the correct part of the phone. This is, from the most frequent to the most rare:

1. upper back side (weder devices, especially Apple)
2. middle back side (older devices)
3. lower back (rarely)

If all of that doesn't help, feel free to ask other attendees. I heared they are helpful and technically inclined.

Something doesn't work

Please follow the following steps:

1. Read the error message. It tells you what to do.
2. Check if this FAQ already explains the solution.
3. Check the info channel if the issue is known already.
